Solvent free paint for wood, steel, iron and plastic – for exterior and interior use

Our Linseed Oil Paint is made from Swedish, cold-pressed, cleaned, filtered, sterilised, well-matured, cooked linseed oil. Linseed Oil Paint can be painted on all dry and clean surfaces.

The paint contains no solvents and must not be diluted with solvents. The colours are made from cleaned, sterilised linseed oil and natural pigments – titanium oxide, iron oxides, chromium oxide green and ultramarine blue. To extend your colour options, you can mix Linseed Oil Paints together to make an even more stunning colour palette.

ONE TIN SYSTEM – the same paint for exterior and interior use and for all coats.

100% DRY MATTER CONTENT – covers approximately 15-25 sq. m/litre.

24 HOUR DRY TIME – at room temperature with good ventilation.

EMISSIONS TESTED & APPROVED – Swedish Work Environment Authority, the Swedish National Heritage Board and Environmental Evaluation of Building Products.

Interior and Exterior Colour Range

Linseed Oil Paint is suitable for interior and exterior wood, metal, iron, plastic and old painted surfaces and it's solvent-free. If you looking for a colour that's a little different you can easily mix your own new shades using our 32 stock colours.

Allback Linseed Oil Paint does not crack or peel, and it will never trap moisture that will cause wood to rot.

Left untouched, this paint will last for 20-25 years (up to 4 or 5 times longer-lasting than conventional coatings). Simply brush off any loose pigment and reapply a new coat of linseed oil paint for another 20-25 years of beauty and protection.

Alternatively, you can maintain Allback Linseed Oil Paint by simply applying the Allback Purified Boiled Linseed Oil onto the dry and aged surface every 5-10 years – just like applying lotion on your dry skin.

Linseed oil paint is a one-tin system, meaning that you use the same paint outdoors and indoors and for all coats – no primer required.

Linseed oil paint is not sensitive to freezing or to very hot weather. This means the paint can be stored below freezing, and it can be applied in direct sunlight.

Made in Sweden.

Use On:
Any clean and dry surface except for silicone, including wood, corrugated steel or aluminum, plastic, and old painted surfaces, indoors and outdoors. For masonry surfaces such as concrete, use Allback's Emulsion technique.

Coverage:
15 – 20 sq metres (161 – 215 sqft) per litre, (which equates to about 600 – 800 sqft/gal) depending on surface finish and porosity.

Allback Zinc Oxide

Allback Zinc Oxide is important to ensure that you add Zinc Oxide, when applying the first coat of Allback Linseed Paint on external surfaces. This should not exceed 20% (parts per volume) of the first coat of paint. The purpose of the Zinc Oxide is to create a barrier against possible mould growth. Please ensure the paint is mixed thoroughly to avoid drying problems, its application should be worked onto the timber very thinly and thoroughly. It is only necessary to add this to the first initial coat of paint, however, it can also be added to any subsequent coats and will not greatly affect the colour of the paint if mixed correctly.

For existing painted surfaces where mould growth has become apparent, clean the surface with Linseed Soap and apply one more coat of the original paint, including Zinc Oxide.
